The Wedding of Seren & Nick – St Wulfrans, Ovingdean & The Jolly Sportsman, Chiltington
This wedding was such a pleasure to film. A very informal relaxed start to the day with Bridal preparations a short walk from the 11th Century Church. St Wulfrans was stunning and is incredibly intact for one of Brighton’s oldest buildings. After the service all the guests jumped on to a Big Lemon bus for the short drive to the drinks reception. The Jolly Sportsman Pub in Chiltington is a stunning remote country pub/restaurant hidden deep in the South Downs National Park. When the rain came the guests remained warm and cosy in the pub enjoying the local Long Man ale or a good bottle of wine. Needless to say the food was excellent from a country pub known for its cuisine. The chefs cooked up a fantastic wedding breakfast using seasonal and local ingredients which all the guests enjoyed. Later that evening whilst the band got the party going a close family friend created a phenomenal ornate table of cakes and brownies which included a mini brownie tower as the wedding cake. By the time I left bacon sandwiches were being served and the brownies were going down fast!
